Responsible use

Keep the human
in the conversation.

Use transcription and AI assistance transparently, protect the context people share, and check suggestions before you act.

Let people know

Explain when you are using transcription or AI assistance and follow the permissions and rules that apply to the conversation. A tool that does not add a meeting bot still needs to be used openly and appropriately.

Respect the setting

Workplace meetings, customer calls, coaching sessions, and interviews may have different policies. Check your organization’s requirements before using Preactik with confidential information. In a hiring assessment, get the employer’s permission before using assistance.

Understand the data flow

The Live Help preview can send a detected question and nearby transcript context to cloud AI processing. Do not assume that bot-free means local-only. Review the release-specific information and app privacy notice before enabling the feature.

Check AI suggestions

AI output may miss context, misunderstand a question, or present incorrect information. Live Help does not provide live web verification. Validate names, figures, claims, and commitments before repeating them or acting on them.

Handle transcripts thoughtfully

Export only what you need and review it before sharing. Store the file in an approved location, share it with the appropriate people, and follow the retention rules that apply to your work. Transcript text and speaker labels can contain errors.

Use practice to build your own skill

In mock interviews or coaching, use the transcript to spot a gap and practice again. Assistance should help you explain your own knowledge and experience accurately.

These are product-use principles. They are not a legal opinion or a claim that Preactik meets every organization’s regulatory or security requirements.
